iCIMS Connect enables companies to showcase a fully branded Social Connect portal that passive candidates can use to submit some basic contact information and express interest in different functional, geographic and other talent pools. To streamline the process, candidates are given the option to submit their social media profile data (from LinkedIn, Facebook or Google+), a traditional resume or both, whether on a mobile device or a traditional laptop/PC. Passive candidates can choose to share as much information with the organization as they would like, such as their willingness to relocate and what department they would be interested in learning about for future job opportunities. Once in the system, HR professionals can use iCIMS Connect to stay in touch with these pools of passive candidates through automated, tailored email communications about company news, recruitment events, job opportunities and more. By maintaining an ongoing connection to a company’s employment brand, candidates are in the best position to learn about upcoming opportunities that may be appropriate for them. Additionally, employers can build larger talent pools of “warm” candidates to reach out to as positions become available within their organization.
