As General Counsel, Kate Scavello is responsible for all legal, compliance and governance matters for iCIMS. She brings more than 20 years of experience advising technology companies on commercial and strategic transactions, corporate governance, securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Scavello previously served as deputy general counsel for Alarm.com, a leading SaaS platform for smart residential and commercial properties, associate general counsel for Millennial Media, a mobile advertising network, and assistant general counsel for Blackboard, a leading global educational technology company. Earlier in her career, Scavello was an associate at Bryan Cave, LLP, where she practiced corporate and securities law.
Scavello has been an invited speaker on corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions at law school and legal conference panels. She holds an A.B. from Princeton University, an M.A. from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
