iCIMS Inc. Achieves EU – U.S. Privacy Shield Certification

iCIMS’ Privacy Shield certification highlights dedication to data security and privacy

MATAWAN, N.J. [December 14, 2016] –  iCIMS, Inc., a leading recruitment software provider, announced today that it has completed the EU-US Privacy Shield certification by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Privacy Shield was formally approved on July 12 as a new framework to protect the transfer of personal data between the European Union and the U.S. after the Safe Harbor framework was deemed no longer adequate under EU law.

The EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework was designed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and European Commission to provide companies on both sides of the Atlantic with a mechanism to comply with EU data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States in support of transatlantic commerce.
