Head of Talent Insights to deliver session on separating AI fact from fiction using new ICIMS research
HOLMDEL, N.J. [June 17, 2026] — ICIMS, a leading enterprise talent acquisition platform, will participate in NAHCR26, the annual conference hosted by the National Association for Health Care Recruitment, on July 15–17 at the Baird Center at Wisconsin Center District in Milwaukee. Trent Cotton, head of talent insights at ICIMS, will lead a session on AI adoption in talent acquisition, drawing on new ICIMS research to help healthcare recruiters cut through the noise and take confident, practical action.
Cotton will present “AI Adoption: Separating Fact from Fiction” on Wednesday, July 16, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. CT in Room S103D. Backed by new research from ICIMS and Aptitude Research tracking AI adoption across recruiting functions—from sourcing and screening to candidate engagement and hiring decisions—the session will give attendees a clear, data-backed view of how organizations are using AI today, where the greatest impact is being felt and where most teams are still falling behind.
“The conversation around AI is as loud as it is confusing, and when unfilled roles mean delayed patient care, healthcare organizations cannot afford to bet on the wrong use cases,” said Cotton. “NAHCR is one of the most important gatherings in healthcare recruitment, and I am looking forward to sharing what our data actually shows so attendees can move from curiosity around AI to confident action.”
Attendees of the session will learn:
A found that, on average, healthcare organizations attract 110 applicants per open role with a 28% qualified applicant rate. Comparatively, the research also found ICIMS customers specifically in healthcare receive a higher number of applicants per opening, more completed applications and a higher percentage of qualified candidates, signaling a clear competitive edge for healthcare systems that invest in the right technology.
NAHCR26 will bring together healthcare recruitment professionals from across the country to explore best practices, emerging trends and the technologies reshaping how hospitals and health systems attract and hire talent. The conference provides a focused forum for practitioners navigating the unique challenges of clinical and non-clinical workforce recruitment.
Register for NAHCR26, July 15–17 in Milwaukee and discover how ICIMS is helping global healthcare organizations like ATI Physical Therapy, Global Medical Response and BrightSpring Health power exceptional hiring.
