How one socially-conscious construction firm built a strong foundation for recruiting
From its beginnings in 1978, Rydon has grown into a multi-faceted company delivering award-winning, quality facilities built by people who are passionate about what they do.
Rydon aims to improve local communities by building and maintaining homes, schools, hospitals, extra care facilities, student accommodations, community leisure centers, and more.
To sustain its growing business in an industry that often has more vacancies than applicants, Rydon needed to rebuild its outdated candidate experience from the ground up and lower its cripplingly high agency costs.
Rydon improved the candidate experience by showcasing employee profiles that highlight company culture on its career site. Rydon’s recruiters also use iCIMS’ Candidate Relationship Management to keep potential candidates engaged for future positions.
The results have been outstanding, including an 80% direct-hire rate, 20% better than the industry standard.
