KIPP, the Knowledge is Power Program, is a national network of college-preparatory public schools with the aim of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. KIPP New Orleans, a supporting organization, is focused on helping the students in traditionally neglected communities of New Orleans build a strong culture of achievement. In order to accomplish this admirable goal, KIPP New Orleans looks to their talented pool of employees. When a need developed for a large influx of teachers at all four of their schools, KIPP New Orleans set out to find a solution that would centralize and streamline all of their recruitment efforts.
