iCIMS Recognized on Prestigious List for Women in Technology

iCIMS included in the Anita Borg Institute’s annual list of Top Companies for Women Technologists

MATAWAN, N.J. (October 2nd, 2017) – iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based talent acquisition solutions, is pleased to announce its inclusion in the 2017 Top Companies for Women Technologists list by the Anita Borg Institute, recognized alongside companies such as The New York Times, HBO and IBM.

The Top Companies for Women Technologists is an annual list of organizations that provide a work environment in which women can thrive. Determined through three key areas of rigorous statistical methodology, the list scores companies in representation, employee experience, programs and policies.

In 2017, iCIMS launched its Women in Technology initiative, which develops leadership training and mentor development opportunities that create a business environment where women can progress their careers. The initiative proactively addresses the gender gap in the tech industry, empowering male and female employees to build networks and engage in open discussions and workshops designed to tackle timely industry topics head on.

“When you start opening up an authentic dialogue with people, they understand the importance of our initiative and the strides we’re making towards gender equality in technology,” said iCIMS Director of Test Engineering and corporate champion of the Women in Technology initiative, Jennifer Scandariato. “We are fostering a technological environment where women can flourish through participation in specialized training opportunities and by establishing meaningful professional connections. We look forward to continuing to build our program. This is just the beginning.”

iCIMS has a longstanding commitment to supporting female technologists and cultivating leaders by providing a positive and inclusive environment. In 2016, the company hosted Women in Tech: Gaining STEAM, an open panel discussion focused on the infusion of art within science, technology, engineering and math. This year, the company hosted an internal networking session to introduce available employee programs and will welcome the public to Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ in October for a second open panel discussion, Women in Business in a Tech World.

Chief Marketing Officer Susan Vitale has been awarded several honors as a woman in business, recently recognized on the 2017 NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business list, and in 2016 was inducted into the Marketing Hall of Femme, an award which honors elite women leaders in marketing.

“Our software helps companies manage all aspects of talent acquisition, including compliance and corporate diversity reporting. In our own organization, our technology department is growing tremendously, and we certainly intend to fill roles with a dynamic and diverse group of hires,” said Vice President of Talent, Irene DeNigris. “We’ve made many recent investments into our talent development initiatives here. It’s an honor to be named in the company of other progressive organizations like Intuit, Target, and Intel Corporation that also prioritize the growth, success and diversity among their employee base.”
