Colin Day ranks 33rd on list of the Highest Rated CEOs for US Small & Medium Companies
HOLMDEL, N.J. (June 20, 2018) – iCIMS Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based talent acquisition software, is pleased to announce that its Chairman and CEO, Colin Day is named one of the Top CEOs of 2018 in the U.S. Small and Medium Business (SMB) category on Glassdoor.
The Top CEOs list annually recognises leaders based entirely on employee feedback, which is shared anonymously on Glassdoor. Employee feedback consists of rating various factors, including overall employment satisfaction and other workplace attributes like senior management. Day was ranked 33rd on the list with a 97 percent approval rating from iCIMS personnel.
“As a CEO, creating a productive and positive work environment is one of my top priorities, along with setting a great vision for our future. To receive this recognition and such kind feedback from iCIMS’ personnel is extremely meaningful to me,” said iCIMS Chairman and CEO, Colin Day. “It’s an honour to be recognised alongside such prominent leaders. As we continue to actively expand our workforce, I look forward to continuing to invest in a company culture that our talent can believe in.”
At the age of 23, Day founded iCIMS and has since led the organisation to stand amongst the Forbes Cloud 100 fastest-growing private cloud companies in the country with more than 3,500 customers, approximately 700 personnel, and an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of more than $150 million. For seven consecutive years, iCIMS has been ranked as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ. Glassdoor recognised iCIMS as one of the 50 Best Medium-Sized Companies to Work For in 2015.
When selecting the top CEOs, Glassdoor focuses on criteria based on quantity, quality, and consistency of reviews. Overall, 770,000 companies are reviewed on Glassdoor with an average CEO approval rating of 69 percent, compared to Day’s approval rate of 97 percent.
“Winning a Glassdoor Top CEO award is a true acknowledgement of exceptional leadership, as it reflects the opinions of the personnel who work with a chief executive every day. I congratulate all of this year’s winners on this significant achievement,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor co-founder and CEO. “It can be a real recruiting advantage to have a top-rated CEO at the helm of a company who has strong support from his or her personnel. The best CEOs are inspiring, trustworthy, innovative and can be great motivators for people to bring their best selves to work.”
Last year, Day was also recognised by The SaaS Report as one of the Top 50 SaaS CEOs. In 2016, he was also named one of HRO Today Magazine’s Superstars, for the third year in a row. Glassdoor previously recognised Day as one of the Highest Rated CEOs in 2015.
