Steve Lucas joined iCIMS in 2020 as the chief executive officer, bringing 25 years of extensive leadership experience in enterprise software. Lucas is leading the vision and plans for iCIMS into its next phase of growth with product innovation and strategic acquisitions. He is focused on solidifying iCIMS’ position as the world’s leading talent cloud company.
As a customer-centric leader, Lucas is elevating iCIMS commitment to delivering a next-gen talent platform to support continuous talent transformation, at scale, and helping to accelerate the growth and success of customers employing more than 34 million collectively across the globe. He is leading the vision and strategic plans for iCIMS as it continuously innovates and develops solutions that empower companies across the globe to build their winning workforce, transform their business and in turn, transform the world.
Lucas brings expertise in building strong workforces from holding senior executive roles at global enterprise software organizations including Adobe, Marketo, SAP, Salesforce.com and BusinessObjects.com. During his tenure as CEO of Marketo, he led a multi-year product expansion and growth strategy resulting in the acquisition of the company by Adobe in 2018, making it the largest acquisition in Adobe’s history.
As a type 1 diabetic, he dedicates much of his time to raising awareness, education and funds for the illness. He has served on the board of the American Diabetes Association and frequently volunteers with the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, where he speaks with type 1 diabetic youth about managing their diabetes and overcoming obstacles.
He is also passionate about inclusivity and has implemented programs and strategies at previous enterprise companies that have successfully improved diversity and inclusion. Lucas strongly believes that a leader’s number one priority should be building a winning, more inclusive and diverse workforce.
Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Colorado, is a published author and serves on multiple philanthropic and education boards. He is also an independent board member of Drift, a B2B conversational marketing platform.
Laura Coccaro is the chief people officer at iCIMS where she leads all people functions at iCIMS, including talent acquisition, development, management, total rewards and employee engagement. She is a people-first, passionate and forward-thinking leader with 15 years of experience in HR and talent roles. As CPO, Coccaro leads the company’s people strategy to build a dedicated and diverse team with an inclusive culture. She is focused on driving an equitable talent experience and enhancing employee engagement so the iCIMS team is empowered to do their best work to support customers to build the world’s winning workforces.
Prior to her current role, Laura served as chief of staff where she was responsible for driving the prioritization and execution of strategic plans and initiatives for the Office of the CEO and iCIMS’ leadership team. She previously served in a variety of talent leadership roles at iCIMS.
Prior to iCIMS, Coccaro spent nearly 10 years with Credit Suisse. She previously served as a vice president at Credit Suisse and held various roles across talent, partnering with a global and diverse set of business units on their talent initiatives and priorities. Coccaro worked across various functions, including core HR, internal mobility and campus recruiting.
Her career has provided her with the opportunity to understand the critical importance of having the right talent to drive business outcomes. Coccaro holds a BS in Business Administration from Fordham University.
As chief marketing officer, Susan Vitale is responsible for the iCIMS brand and for driving company growth. Vitale joined iCIMS in 2005, rising up through the ranks to the C-suite and helping build iCIMS into the world’s leading talent cloud company that empowers organizations to attract, engage, hire and advance the right talent.
Actively involved in the HR technology community, Vitale regularly speaks on talent best practices and technology trends. She built her career at iCIMS and is a member of several mentorship groups that provide career advice to young professionals, as well as communities of women leaders. Vitale is deeply committed to helping her team achieve career aspirations, creating opportunities for employees’ career development and growth in support of their professional goals as well as the company’s business goals.
Vitale has twice been recognized as a Stevie Award winner for Women in Business, was included on the Marketing Hall of Femme and is one NJBIZ’s Best 50 Women in Business. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University.
Kerry Karle is the VP of Talent Acquisition for DISH Network, a Fortune 200 company with more than $15 billion in annual revenue that continues to redefine the communications industry. She joined the organization a year ago to transform the recruitment function to enable the organization to scale as it reinvents itself from the Pay-TV and streaming industry to upending the wireless industry with a first of its kind Open-RAN 5G network.
With nearly 30 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and HR, she has a track record of driving change and transformation across multiple industries globally as a leader at Wells Fargo and Hewlett-Packard, and in management consulting with Aon/Hewitt Associates and the RPO and HR Technology space.
In her past time she enjoys running, golf, skiing, and watching her 12 year old son compete in soccer and lacrosse tournaments.
Laura is the Senior Director of TA Operations and Assessments. She has responsibility for Spectrum’s selection and assessment function as well as Spectrum’s TA technology (ATS, CRM, etc.). Laura is passionate about building validated selection systems that emphasize fairness, efficiency, and a positive user experience. While at Spectrum, she has led efforts to build a company-wide competency model, a structured interview guide program, and a front line assessment program. She is most proud of the implementation of a Fit Finder assessment, which allows applicants to answer questions about their work styles and interests, and then match them with local job opportunities. In addition to Fit Finder being recognized as the Best Use of Recruitment Marketing Technology at the 2022 Rally awards, the tool is positively impacting application rates, including influencing women to apply at a higher rate for typically male roles. Laura was named the 2022 HR Aspiring Leader by C2HR. She earned her Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Radford University and her doctorate from Capella University.
Brandie Dawson was named director, global talent acquisition (TA) of Valvoline, effective October 2020 and is leading the progression of the organization’s recruiting initiatives. She joined Valvoline in April 2017 as the manager of TA for Valvoline’s Core North America business segment. She assumed additional TA leadership responsibilities of Valvoline’s rapidly growing quick lubes business segment and, in October 2019, was named senior manager, talent acquisition. Before joining Valvoline, she held talent acquisition leadership positions at Saks Fifth Avenue for six years and Adecco for 11 years. Brandie is active in the Lexington community, working with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky, Big Brother Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, Habitat for Humanity, and mentoring college students. A Kentucky native, Brandie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
As the Vice-President of Talent Management at PSA Airlines, Christine drives the full Talent Lifecyle Strategy and all supporting systems and benefits for employees at PSA. At PSA Airlines, Christine started as the Director of Flight Operations Recruiting in 2016, where she initiated and built PSA’s leading Pilot and Flight Attendant Recruitment strategy. Over six years, Christine built a team of over 50 team members, hired and retained a record numbers of pilots and flight attendants, and drew in talent that created development pathway programs. In a short period of time, Christine’s team positively impacted the number of available plans the airline could fly, record hiring numbers, training completion rates, and attrition across the organization. Christine now leads the entire Talent Strategy at PSA, which is inclusive of Diversity, Equity Inclusion, Communications, Marketing, People and Performance Management, and all Talent Systems and Benefits. Her vision is to continue to drive a Talent Management team that is best known for attracting, retaining, and supporting every single team member at PSA; while embodying an inclusive workforce.
Prior to Christine’s 6 years at PSA Airlines, she spent over 10 years growing talent strategy in the Financial Services. As the National Director of Talent Acquisition with the MetLife Premier Financial Group, she led the strategy and talent acquisition team that supported over 70 financial firms, primarily seeking and hiring experienced financial advisors. Christine was also a licensed Financial Services Representative, impacting the professional level experience to lead a National Team.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Science, Communications from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. During her time at UWM, Christine ran Track&Field and Cross Country as a scholar athlete for all four years. She also completed her Master of Communications at Northern Kentucky University.
Mark Sankarsingh joined PepsiCo in September of 2019 and leads all aspects of the HR technology agenda, ensuring delivery of fit for purpose global tools and platforms as well as driving an integrated, user-centric digital future.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Mark spent 20 years at Citi, spanning roles in HR operations and systems, shared services, risk & control, contingent workforce optimization, and data management. Highlights include launching Citi’s first Performance, Talent and Learning management platforms globally, leading the consolidation and implementation of Citi’s 100k+ contingent workforce into a single SaaS solution, and establishing service delivery operations in strategic locations globally. Mark also served as global head of HR Shared Services Risk & Control and led data architecture initiatives for Citi’s Chief Data Office.
Prior to joining Citi, Mark held roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as an internal auditor and a HRIS analyst and started his career as an investigative auditor for the New York State Attorney General.
Tyler really doesn’t want to be stuck in any box. He’s a physicist, an artist, and a poet who loves to have fun and solve hard problems and is most at home when he’s building teams that can solve those hard problems. Tyler is currently the Vice President of Talent Analytics at Marriott International where he is focused on shortening the distance between observation and action for leaders at every level of the company.
