MATAWAN, N.J. (December 19, 2012) – iCIMS, Inc., a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) talent acquisition software solutions for growing businesses, announced today that the company has been named a Best in Biz Bronze winner in the Fastest Growing Company of the Year category for medium-size organizations.
This award is largely attributed to a significant increase in top-line revenue while also showing attractive profit margins year over year. The company, which was founded in 1999, has achieved at a compounded annual growth rate of 43 percent over the last decade, with more than 20 percent growth last year. Additionally, 2011 marked a milestone in company history – the achievement of 1,000 clients. iCIMS collected an average of one new customer every business day last year. In the fourth quarter alone, the company signed 75 clients, contributing to a total of 300 new clients at the end of the year.
iCIMS’ success continued into 2012 with a $35 million minority growth equity investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity, LLC (SGE). With the new investment, the company accelerated its growth and expansion plans by directing increased funds to marketing, product development, and acquisitions. By April, iCIMS hired their 200th employee and relocated its headquarters to an upscale building that comfortably houses all current and future in-house staff. The following quarter, the company announced a reseller relationship with Canada’s largest online recruitment provider, Workopolis. Shortly thereafter, iCIMS announced the acquisition of its former partner, social recruiting solution provider Jobmagic. These monumental milestones for iCIMS have received recognition from Inc. 500 l 5,000, NJBIZ’s Fifty Fastest Growing Companies in NJ, and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™.
More than 400 entries were submitted in this year’s awards program, from an array of U.S and Canadian public and private companies of various sizes and industries. Best in Biz Awards 2012 featured more than 50 categories, including Company of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Best New Product of the Year.
