iCIMS, Inc. has created this privacy statement to demonstrate a commitment to privacy and establish practices to be follow in good faith. The following discloses information gathering and dissemination practices for the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System.
iCIMS seeks to follow privacy practices adhering to the Safe Harbor standards.
Personally Identifiable information is collected at a number of points throughout the iCIMS Application process. Applicants have the choice to enter information to client companies via e-mail or by direct entry through the client's Online Career Centers.
Applicants have the ability to remain anonymous during the initial stages of the application process. All information requested directly relates to the job application process. Applicant data is stored in order to facilitate the decision making process and to allow for future position consideration and placement.
All applicants are given open notice and the choice to provide personal information. Notices include data transfer location and data security provisions.
Information can be corrected and updated at any point in the application process by logging into the Online Career Center.
If an applicant's personally identifiable information changes iCIMS provides a way to correct, update, or remove that user's personal information. This can be done by logging into the client's Online Career Center.
Applicants are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of client mailings and notifications via the 'Opt-Out' mechanism attached to all iCIMS e-mails.
Please be aware that iCIMS is not responsible for the privacy practices of its clients. iCIMS encourages users read the privacy statements of each and every company to which they apply. This privacy statement applies solely the role iCIMS plays in collecting and storing applicant data.
iCIMS takes every precaution to protect users information. When users submit sensitive information via internet, the information is protected both online and off-line.
All applicant information is restricted in the corporate office. Only employees who have direct client permission are granted access to personally identifiable information. Employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to any information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, iCIMS employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance placed on privacy, and what can be done to ensure that customers' information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
