iCIMS Officially Certified as Safe Harbor Participant

Hazlet, NJ, September 17, 2003 - iCIMS announced today that it has formally applied for and received certification from the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the Department's Safe Harbor initiative. iCIMS participation in the Safe Harbor program is a result of the solution provider's expanding iCIMS' Enterprise offering, marketed to Global 2000 corporations seeking Talent Management Solutions capable of handling international recruitment initiatives.

The Safe Harbor program is a co-initiative sponsored by the United States and the European Union designed to normalize the privacy standards across international borders as it pertains to the transmission of personal information and data. Under Safe Harbor, participants avoid experiencing interruptions in their business dealings with the EU or facing prosecution by European authorities under European privacy laws. Safe Harbor certification serves as notice to EU organizations that an organization offers "adequate" privacy protection, as defined by the Directive.
