Interpublic Group (IPG) is a global provider of advertising and marketing services. A Fortune 500 company, IPG is the parent company of global agencies like McCann Erikson, Draftfcb and Lowe Worldwide, who deliver custom marketing solutions to many of the world’s largest advertisers. As an industry leader, Interpublic Group covers a spectrum of disciplines and specialties, from public relations and consumer advertising, to mobile and search engine marketing.

With hundreds of offices in over 100 countries and approximately 45,000 employees, Interpublic Group’s role as the holding company is to provide resources and support to their agencies – including recruitment assistance and information technology. In 2008, IPG sought out an automated tracking system for prospective job applicants in order to provide a cost effective option for the agencies.
